Non Contact Displacement

For measurement of displacement without actual target contact, MicroStrain by HBK have a range of inductive sensors for very accurate close-range measurements of metallic targets.

Capacitec manufacture a range of sensors for very accurate displacement sensing. By measuring the capacitance change between two adjacent conductive surfaces, these non-contact sensors can measure gaps and general displacements with excellent repeatability.
